Peanut the Squirrel ($PNUT) Thesis

$PNUT is the coin for Peanut, a squirrel Mark Longo rescued as a baby after his mother was hit by a car. Peanut grew up in Longo's home and got famous on Instagram, until New York wildlife officers raided the house on October 30, 2024, took him and Fred the raccoon, and put both down to test for rabies. Neither had it.

The raid landed a week before the election, so the internet turned Peanut into a symbol of government overreach. Elon told everyone to vote "For PNut! For Liberty! For Freedom!" in a post seen over 74 million times, and days later Justice Gorsuch brought him up at the Federalist Society dinner. The coin rode all of that anger, and Binance listed it eleven days after launch.

Two years later the story is still open. Longo's $10M lawsuit against the state hasn't been decided, and people still post about Peanut. This coin was never Longo's, and newer "official" PNUT launches haven't pulled the crowd away, because the market was never buying a license, it was buying the outrage.

The state wanted one less squirrel in Pine City. It got one the whole internet still knows by name.
