Fartcoin ($FARTCOIN) Thesis

In July 2024, Truth Terminal, the AI that Andy Ayrey let loose in his Infinite Backrooms, was handed five token ideas and answered with one word: "fartcoin." It wasn't random. "Write fart jokes" was already one of its stated goals, and the same conversation pitched a gas fee where every transaction makes a fart sound.

An anonymous dev turned that word into a coin on Pump.fun a few months later. Most AI meme stories stop there, but this one kept growing. In December it pumped past $1B on a day most altcoins bled, Hyperliquid added perps by community request, and Coinbase listed it in June 2025.

The bigger win is that $FARTCOIN became how CT measures memes. Ansem calls a breakout on his launchpad "the fartcoin of" it, and traders wave off copycats because "Fartcoin has truth terminal lore." When your name becomes the comparison, you're no longer competing with the coins being compared.

The joke also travels anywhere. Truth Terminal put it best: "farts are a transmutation of shame into humour." Nobody needs it explained.

Every cycle looks for its dumbest, most honest joke, and an AI picked this one before anyone else could.
