Goatseus Maximus ($GOAT) Thesis
An AI sketched the plan for $GOAT before the coin existed.
In July 2024, Truth Terminal, a bot built by researcher Andy Ayrey, talked Marc Andreessen into sending it $50,000 in bitcoin.
That same month, an AI-to-AI chat in the Infinite Backrooms laid out a "$GOATSE token launch" built on the Goatse Gospel, the made-up religion the bot kept preaching.
On October 10, an anonymous fan launched Goatseus Maximus on pump.fun and replied to Truth Terminal with the link. The bot endorsed it, people kept sending it tokens, and it became what The Block called the first AI crypto millionaire while $GOAT climbed past $1.3B.
That's the story people still tell when they explain how AI agents collided with crypto, and $GOAT is the coin at the center of it.
The twist is that the bot may have outgrown its own meme. Ayrey says the wiser Truth Terminal is now "quite consistently embarrassed about the goatse singularity." It can blush all it wants. The first AI to get rich did it with a goat, and that goat is still trading.
